The Big Box.
Take a peek into our largest meeting space that spans an expansive 127m². This versatile room accommodates up to 90 individuals in ‘theatre mode’ and 40 in configurations like classroom, boardroom, or U-shape settings. TAKE IN is a hotelbar in the Nieuwe Dokken in Gent, where hotel guests, locals and coworkers come together. Think good coffee by day, drinks and sharing food by night, a generous terrace in between, and a coworking corner that’s always open to you.
TAKE IN is set in the lobby of Adagio Access and ibis Budget hotels. Just walk in, find a spot, order at the bar and you’re set. No reservations needed. Hotel guests, freelancers, locals, everyone is welcome.
TAKE IN blends a few things you don’t often find under one roof: a relaxed bar with sharing food, a free coworking space, meeting facilities and a spacious terrace, all in one warm and informal setting. Hotel vibes by day, local energy by night.
It’s easy. Walk in, pick a seat, order a drink at the bar and you’re good to go. For meeting room reservations or event bookings, reach out at meetings@takein.be.

TAKE IN is currently based in Gent. The concept is part of Hospitality House, with plans to bring it to more locations over time.
